چکیده
Physalis peruviana L. has great exploitation potential especially for small producers in the Brazilian Northeast. However, production semiarid regions may be limited by high salt content soils and water sources used irrigation. Thus, this study evaluated application of Ascophyllum nodosum seaweed extract as saline stress attenuator P. The randomized block design was used, an incomplete 5 × factorial scheme, with five electrical conductivities irrigation (0.50, 1.23, 3.00, 4.77 5.50 dS m-1) increasing concentrations kelp (0.00, 1.45, 5.00, 8.55 10.00 mL L-1), nine combinations generated Central Box matrix, four replicates plants to evaluate effect on phytomass accumulation, chlorophyll fluorescence pigment content. Results showed, salinity significantly reduced biomass indices. when were treated 9.9 L-1 they increased seedling quality. On other hand, up 4.1 L-1, biostimulant dark-adapted indices which indicate it reduces damages photosynthetic apparatus caused salt-stress thus improving activity photoassimilates production. Thus A. attenuates deleterious photosynthesis plants.

Effect of copper on the photochemical efficiency, growth, and chlorophyll a biomass of natural phytoplankton assemblages.
In this investigation, we have tested the potential usefulness of variable fluorescence, i.e., the potential photochemical efficiency of photosystem II (F(v)/F(m)), determined with a fast repetition rate fluorometer (FRRF), as an indicator of the effect of metal pollution on natural phytoplankton assemblages. Phytoplankton populations were collected from an eutrophic embayment and exposed to di...
متن کاملImpact of Salinity Stress on Photochemical Efficiency of Photosystem II, Chlorophyll Content and Nutrient Elements of Nitere Bush (Nitraria schoberi L.) Plants
Salinity is one of major stresses which can severely limit plant production, especially in the arid and semi-arid regions. The present study was carried out to evaluate the impact of salinity stress on some physio-biochemical parameters in nitre bush plants (Nitraria schoberi). Thus, an experiment was carried out under natural conditions and salinity stress was induced by a combination of diffe...
